The decision has been taken to cancel ride this evening due to high winds, it is expected that by this evening cycling conditions will be dangerous!

Heavy rain this morning should clear away southwards early this afternoon, with skies brightening up for a time, before further rain returns later. Very windy with severe gales developing, perhaps storm force for a time this afternoon in the north.

Severe gales this evening with further spells of rain. Wind and rain easing after midnight, but remaining very windy with a scattering of showers. Feeling rather chilly.
