NO CYCLING TONIGHT!!!!!!

The decision has been taken to cancel ride this evening due to high winds, it is expected that by this evening cycling conditions will be dangerous!

Monday

Heavy rain this morning should clear away southwards early this afternoon, with skies brightening up for a time, before further rain returns later. Very windy with severe gales developing, perhaps storm force for a time this afternoon in the north.

Monday night

Severe gales this evening with further spells of rain. Wind and rain easing after midnight, but remaining very windy with a scattering of showers. Feeling rather chilly.

Easter Monday Evening ride

Meeting at the community centre at 1830, if there are enough riders we will split into 2 groups, one easy (pub) ride and a longer ride for those that want the extra miles.

Any suggestions for different route are always welcome.

Pedal for Pounds 2011

Pedal for Pounds is back in 2011, and we need your support again!

Entry costs £18 and you will receive a t-shirt, medal and certificate for taking part!

We have two locations again this year, Harewood House in Leeds on the 4^th Sept and The Great Outdoors in Finningly near Doncaster on the 21^st Aug.

Ride Sunday 27th Marh

Tomorrows ride will be a ride of two halfs. A steady 1 hour ride or around 12 miles to freshen up those tired legs with the second hour being a longer 15-18 mile loop

More info	We have lot's of Birthday girls and boys this month so it deserves a social night out, this is replacing the meet at the FOX and Hounds-I will try and arrange transport but I will need numbers. Expected departure time 20.00 and back early hours.

Cafe ride - Sunday 20th Feb

Jim has given in to external pressures and is planning a ride to Fountains Abbey where we can indulge in a brew and some cake.

The opening times of the 2 cafes varies so I will call them and find out. It looks like the estate opens at 1000 so we should be good to go but I will confirm here later and Catherine can post something on Facebook.

Cafes do open at 10am so meeting at the usual time should be fine.
